Maidian
Maidian 560 SC is a formulated mixture of two fungicides used to control many fungal diseases.
- Azoxystrobin: A systemic fungicide from the strobilurin group with preventive, curative, and translaminar properties. It inhibits mitochondrial respiration in fungi, preventing spore germination and mycelial growth.
- Chlorothalonil: A broad-spectrum contact fungicide from the chloronitrile group that inhibits fungal spore germination and protects against various foliar diseases.

Features and Mode of Action
- Azoxystrobin: Works by inhibiting complex III (cytochrome bc1) in the mitochondrial electron transport chain, preventing energy production in fungal cells.
- Chlorothalonil: Acts by binding to fungal enzymes containing thiol groups, disrupting their metabolism and stopping infection.
