Features and Mode of Action

Atrazine: Selective systemic herbicide, absorbed principally through the roots, but also through the foliage, with translocation acropetally in the xylem and accumulation in the apical meristems and leaves. Mesotrione: Uptake is foliar and via the root, with both acropetal and basipetal translocation. Symptoms are whitening of leaves, followed by necrosis of the meristematic tissue.                                            Nicosulfuron: Selective systemic herbicide, absorbed by the foliage and roots, with rapid translocation in xylem and phloem to the meristematic tissues.

The systemic action of Armaiz 26% OD means that the herbicide is absorbed by the weed, spreading throughout its vascular system to eliminate it from the inside out. This results in long-lasting control while minimizing soil disruption.

1. The best application period: Spray evenly at the 3-5 leaf stage of corn, and the 2-4 leaf stage of the weeds.
2. The spraying time should be in the morning or at dusk. When the temperature is high around noon, the spraying is easy to evaporate and affect the efficacy. Flat Fan nozzle is used for herbicide application.
