Features and Mode of Action
The mechanism of action of Tri-Ultra involves the inhibition of the enzyme Acetolactate Synthase, which plays a crucial role in the synthesis of essential amino acids necessary for the growth and development of weeds. This inhibition disrupts the process of cell division in both the roots and stems of the weeds, ultimately leading to their demise.
It is advised to apply a dosage of 360 to 480 milliliters per acre for the control of all broadleaf and narrowleaf weeds in wheat crops. This application should be conducted when the weeds have developed three to five leaves or approximately 30 to 40 days following the sowing of the wheat.
Crop | Weed | Dose |
Wheat | Both Narrow & Broad leave weeds | 400 ml/acre |
- The best application period: Spray evenly at the 3-5 leaf stage of corn, and the 2-4 leaf stage of the weeds.
- The spraying time should be in the morning or at dusk. When the temperature is high around noon, the spraying is easy to evaporate and affect the efficacy.
- The total water volume for spraying should be maintained between 100 to 120 liters, and it is recommended to use a flat fan nozzle for even distribution.
